Scope of Role
Process Excellence experience and in particular in the Market and Replenishment Planning Process Stewardship, where we are trusted champions to orchestrate supply chain process improvement across GPS while holding functional areas accountable for process adherence and process performance. The Process Steward serves as the point of contact for Market and Replenishment Planning Processes in its liaison with Markets, Tolling Centers, Internal and External Manufacturing Sites, Logistics and Global Planning.
Key responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Market (MSP) or Replenishment Planning (RP) Processes, and/or understanding of interdependencies between those and Capacity planning, Tolling, Customer Planning, Global Planning and Logistics processes.
Develop and maintain data standards to govern adherence to both process and systems
Work with Market Supply Planner to resolve day to day issues
Contribute and own business process deliverables (e.g. end to end business process maps, playbooks for roles that document day in the life, procedure documents, job aids and metrics definition)
Support the roll-out of MSP initiatives (e.g. train the trainer, office hours, knowledge transfer planning, communication planning)
Maintain and improve training curricula for MSP and RP functions.
Collaborate with Super Users in run the business support to the MSP and RP organizations.
Collaborate with other Process Excellence Stewards (Site Planning Process, ExM Planning Process, Logistics Process and Integrated Supply Planning Steward, to ensure alignment in the use of standard processes.
Contribute to define KPIs where necessary, analyze process performance and suggest process improvement or user training
Facilitate Planning Community of Practice, drive process standardization and collect feedback for improvement
Brings standardization opportunities to Process Owner and ensures implementation plans are in place.
Develop strong relationship with IT stakeholders to support technology enablement activities.
Desired experience and qualifications
Education:
B.S. or BA in supply chain, management and/or engineering (biotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or related disciplines). MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management preferred (e.g. APICS CSCP). Lean sigma certification preferred (e.g. Lean Practitioner, Green Belt)
5 year experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing
Insights on how digitization is transforming the Supply Chain industry
Knowledge of big data and advanced analytics in Supply Chain digitization space
Relevant experience in a broad range of Supply Chain activities. Comprehensive understanding of all supply chain dynamics, processes and workflow in a batch manufacturing environment
Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements
Experience in developing and implementing world class, global supply chain planning processes and managing them through deployment of global logistics systems
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Experience with large, cross-functional programs
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines
