Description
The Clerk 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments. The Clerk 1 will be assigned to one specific department; Shipping, OTC (Over the Counter), or Inventory, however may be assigned to work in any of the departments listed. The duty and responsibility expectations will fall under the scope of the department.
Responsibilities
Depending on the department assigned, duties and responsibilities include the following:
Shipping and OTC-
Verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition
Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used
Picking, packing, and manifesting medications or OTC items in a timely manner
Operate automated packing system
Correctly sort packages for specific ship type to correct locations
Inventory-
Sorts, checks and receives product
Puts product away in the warehouse
Replenishes product from the warehouse to the distribution line
Counts product in multiple locations to ensure accuracy
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Less than 2 years of technical experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Clerks must have the ability to stand during entire work shift
Clerks must have the ability to lift 5-30lbs frequently and 31-50lbs occasionally
Clerks possess hand strength to grasp and twist item continuously
Clerks must have the ability to work around pharmaceutical products
Clerks must have the ability to reach above waist and shoulders frequently
Clerks must be able to perform the duties required in core areas
