Job Summary:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments in accordance with production schedule to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. This position is also responsible for creating and implementing KPI and other metrics needed by the Plant Manager and Materials Manager.

Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to plan and schedule workflow for each department/ operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Liaises between planning and production teams to determine status of assigned projects.
Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Prepare production reports and lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
Creates purchase orders and work orders
Creates requests for quotes and purchase requisitions for equipment, materials, fabrication, and services to meet customer contract requirements
Contacts suppliers to obtain pertinent documentation for project completion
Works directly with document control to process all documentation in accordance with contractual agreements
Perform various other duties and activities within the physical constraints of the job.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 Years of experience in production control, preferably in a make-to-order engineering environment or related work experience
Demonstrated knowledge with production planning and inventory controls systems
Excellent planning and scheduling skills
Knowledge and understanding of engineering bills of material
Excellent organizational, verbal/written communication and customer service skills
Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
Proficient knowledge and skills with MS office products.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
