Position Summary
The Sr. Lead, Operations for GPS (Global Product Supply) will lead sustainability and operations across all of GPS. This role will manage programs and initiatives that support the company goals for sustainability and be the main point of contact in the GPS organization for all things related to UA’s Sustainability Business Integration (SBI) work. This role will also lead the creation of the operating rhythm for GPS to ensure successful tracking and execution of the department goals and projects. They will represent GPS in SBI operating model meetings, spanning all product divisions and SBI goal workstreams, and will drive alignment and transparency with cross-functional partners in OCOO, OCPO, Sustainability and Technology. This role will work across all areas of GPS to discover and document process, refine processes to work for all divisions, and streamline execution of our goals, projects, and initiatives. Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. You will be challenged to bring together opposing thought partners in order to ensure our goals met. An area of focus in year one will be leading the Traceability work group by partnering with the cross functional team on discovery, documentation, and recommendations of a Traceability IT solution to solve for all segments of Traceability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operationalizes GPS-owned SBI workstreams, including Traceability.
Builds project plans and timelines with annual goals, metrics, action items, dates and gates.
Represents GPS in functional SBI workstreams led by cross-functional business units and provides input and feedback from GPS leadership.
Create and run operating rhythm for GPS. Research current processes and build out new processes and procedures to ensure all divisions are working together.
Manage quarterly vendor scorecard and improve automation and validation in reporting.
Partner with GPS Leadership team and Business Process team to create strategic focus and define operational approach to drive initiative execution for all of GPS.
Manages the GPS portion of the SBI Budget.
Primary liaison to IT to document and discover requirements for a Traceability system of record.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
A passion for our planet and people
Experience in supply chain and understanding the end to end process of bringing goods to market
Strong eye for business, superior quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
Experience working independently, is a self-starter that can take initiative with their work and ability to learn and expand knowledge on their own
Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with many moving pieces and deadlines to manage
Proven ability to lead collaboration across diverse teams within large organizations and inspire confidence to motivate groups collectively to meet common objectives
Proven ability to interact with all levels, partnering, facilitating, influencing and comfortable with utilizing internal and external resources
Education And / Or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in areas of supply chain management, business, or textiles/apparel or engineering. Master’s degree a plus.
8-10 years professional experience in supply chain, product or sustainability operations (project/program management a plus)

Return to Work Designation: Hybrid with minimum 2 days per week in Baltimore office
