The ECE Planner is responsible for implementing, monitoring, coordinating, measuring, reporting material availability/status and ensure that materials are available to meet the needs of customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage planning and production/procurement execution data including work orders, prioritization, conversion of planned orders into purchase orders and material availability monitoring.
Develop, formalize, improve and implement processes related to ECE planning
Maintain MRP planning and scheduling parameters for P items.
Analyze planned order reports and provide timely release of purchase orders specified to meet the production plan or the objectives set up by the ECE Component Supply organization/mgmt.
Interface with production teams and procurement specialists to prioritize items.
Coordinate tasks related to materials availability for production or CMs and interface on daily basis with production, planning, customer service, warehouse, supplier manager, sourcing, technical and procurement teams
Provide daily guidance and information to the Product Line team regarding the status of production schedules.
Prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and flag other potential interruptions to the management.
Monitor production progress against scheduling needs and intervene as necessary to bring deliveries back into compliance with production schedules.
Consolidate, analyze, and communicate the FCST file for each of the distributors and CMs
Work with technical teams to confirms BOM correctness/ update new part and use of alternate part
Run reports/ data and update KPIs for stakeholder meeting for status update
Identify and report opportunities and implement actions to reduce waste, shorten lead times and reduce costs.
Report scheduling, capacity and production tracking data, statistics and metrics as defined by the Master Schedule policy.
Use the guiding principles and the tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement wherever applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or similar
2 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing Planning
Good knowledge of the electronic component market and supplier base
Good knowledge of SAP
Strong communication skills and ability to develop/maintain strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers
Ability to work with tight deadlines
