SUMMARY
Global Support Services, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is seeking a Core Team Supply Chain Specialist to provide support to the Air Force’s Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis, Planning, and Execution (ESCAPE) project. This Core Team Supply Chain Specialist position will assist the AFMC/A4NL ESCAPE Functional Core team at Tinker AFB (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) in validating requirements, validating test case specifications, and validating processes against the implementing COTS package, SPM. This position also includes working with ESCAPE FSMO resources to implement the ESCAPE program solution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support ESCAPE Core team requirements using a thorough understanding and knowledge of: Air Force Supply Chain Management principles; Air Force forecasting and budgeting process; and Air Force recoverable requirements generation processes, systems and capabilities
Assist USAF in learning and adopting new applications and applying existing policy
Assess current processes and systems/applications and determine future state
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Through understanding and knowledge of: Air Force Supply Chain Management principles; Air Force forecasting and budgeting process; Air Force recoverable requirements generation processes, systems and capabilities; and Air Force contract, organic and inter service repair processes
Must be able to communicate clearly with various levels of Management and Departments
Must be able to work in a fast pace office environment with a strong ability to prioritize and delegate a heavy workload with limited supervision
MUST be a U.S. citizen
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Through understanding and knowledge of:
Air Force Supply Chain Management principles
Air Force forecasting and budgeting process
Air Force recoverable requirements generation processes, systems and capabilities
Air Force contract, organic and inter service repair processes Can assist USAF in learning and adopting new applications and applying existing policy
Can assess current processes and systems/applications and determine future state
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work seamlessly with diverse teams
May require travel away from normal duty station
Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment and stay motivated and flexible
Preferred
Past experience working in an Air Force supply chain management and legacy system environment is preferred

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard and mouse. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
