A role in a Distribution Center

means being on the very front lines of getting product to the guest as fast as possible—a critical differentiator and one of the most essential functions within Logistics. A role within Warehouse Operations

means you’ll work quickly, safely and efficiently to handle product within the warehouse to ensure the accurate processing of merchandise to our stores network and our guests. We’re in the business of delivering quality merchandise! To complete this work, you’ll be required to maintain a work area that is organized, neat and clean in order to safely receive and process freight, manage and move inventory, pack, load and ship items to our stores and to our guests. It is also vital that you report to work on time and complete job tasks assigned accurately and on time to contribute to the overall Distribution Center results.  Please note job duties may change at any time due to business needs. 

Based on business needs and requirements for a role within Warehouse Operations, you will be considered for one of the following roles based on your responses to the questionnaire you’ll complete in the application process. Requirements associated for each of these roles are outlined below. Additional details on the specific for each of these roles is also linked via the job descriptions below.

Warehouse Worker requirements:

·        Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment 

·        Able to comprehend oral and written  communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets and other product documentation 

·        Able to accurately use basic math skills  

·        Able to operate all power equipment, warehouse technology, and others systems safely 

·        Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 47 lbs. regularly, and up to 60 lbs. on an infrequent basis 

·        Able to work in various temperature controlled environments including temperatures below freezing (Food Distribution Center only) 

Packer Requirements:

·        Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment 

·        Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets and other product documentation  

·        Able to accurately use basic math skills  

·        Able to operate PCS System (scanning of labels with electronic pencil-wand) 

·        Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. throughout a shift
