Essential Duties: \u00A0Answers and makes calls to and from customers, internal and external, as needed.Processes packages or cases including, but not limited to:USPS packages/casesCOD casesEmployee Dental Assistance Program casesVIP inbound/outboundDSO casesOutsource casesCustomer drop-off casesMonitors flow of rush cases to ensure proper routing and delivery to customers.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Researches and process packages or cases needing special attention; contacts customers to verify or obtain missing or additional information. Conducts research on mixed and lost cases, and reports unresolved cases to Management. Fulfills submitted shipping service requests, which may include International and Saturday Delivery requests.\u00A0 Communicates information to internal and external customers related to orders on hold, international shipments, damaged shipments, and other extraordinary circumstances.Conducts mail count on a daily basis and provides updates as required.Provides support for Prospect/Restart customer accounts, including any account holds. Utilizes initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines to ensure smooth operation of the Department.Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.Verifies billing for cases to ensure accuracy. Ensures outbound cases are properly and accurately invoiced and shipped to customers by carrier cut-off times.Supports case handling inquiries from team members. Assists team members with utilizing various applications including, but not limited to: DL Plus, GCM, GOv2 / GOv3, Elektra / EPS (Elektra Pack Ship) and GCX (PEGA). Assists team members for cases going to CT Scan workflow. Enters inbound cases accurately into system and ensures cases are delivered to production area (i.e., Plaster or Parts Room) by commitment time.Quality controls cases delivered to internal customers, as well as cases shipped to external customers. Supports case handling inquiries from team members. Works closely with Management and team members to maintain day-to-day operations.Works with team members in areas of problem solving and decision-making.Oversees and supports night shift operations when needed.Communicates with other departments to ensure production needs are being met.Ensures production schedules are met through establishment and enforcement of processes and procedures.Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.Provides training to team members.Assists with administering new Shipping policies and programs.Monitors process and quality control compliance of team members; addresses issues regarding quality standards with team members. Ensures Shipping Standard of Operation is consistently maintained and followedRelies on advanced technical knowledge to make decisions to support accomplishing department goals and increase customer satisfaction.\u00A0 Communicates current production status and immediately reports issues to Shipping Supervisor or Manager.Researches and provides feedback regarding incoming and outgoing cases.\u00A0Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.\u00A0Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum three (3) years of experience with advance level order processing.Minimum of two (2) years of Shipping and Receiving experience.\u00A0Special Requirements/Certification:Shipping and Receiving Basics training CertificationOrder Processing I, II and III training CertificationQuality Control CertificationLogistics Communication CertificationShipping Specialist CertificationPay Range: $23/hr - $24/hr
