Represent Global Supply Chain on product focused at Global Operations Team (GO-Team) and Regulatory & Supply Team (RST); lead the SC sub-team to drive brand Supply chain performance
Develop annual E2E Product Supply Strategy (including inventory, sourcing strategies, logistics and business continuity)
Own & drive E2E value stream map improvements related to supply chain activities (training and processes)
Maintain regulatory and supply strategy (in partnership with Regulatory Lead) and supporting material control strategy (in partnership with Quality Product Lead)
Support GSR (responsible to escalate brand-level exceptions) and market S&OP (responsible to cascade down brand strategy)
Ensure Alliance Management and business partners aligned to brand strategy
Create strategic ‘what-if’ scenarios to proactively identify risks and opportunities
Engaging with Long-term Planning for sourcing strategies
Endorse product scenario analysis from the Planning Team – confirm manufacturing plan is aligned to supply and demand requirements
Develop strategies to manage supply fragmentation
Lead resolution of escalated global supply risks (through Allocation)
Assess Supply Chain Management impact during Change Management execution for process changes
Professional experience and qualifications
Education
· Undergraduate Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Life Sciences
· Advanced degree, diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or MBA strongly preferred
Experience / Knowledge Desired
· Required: 10 years of related experience in supply chain or manufacturing in a Pharmaceutical environment. Knowledge of/exposure to world class planning and execution processes and preferably supported by ERP and Advanced Planning Systems (preferably SAP suites). Minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader of cross-functional teams and/or managing staff.
· Highly Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain.
· Strongly Preferred: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements (EMA, TGA).
· Strongly Preferred: Experience in working internationally in a fast-paced, reputed, global pharmaceutical/Bio-Technology or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure
· Preferred: Experience in developing and implementing world class, global supply chain planning processes and managing them through deployment of global advanced planning and scheduling systems
