Role Summary:
This role is responsible for improving operating procedures, efficiency, and growth within Parts. This position will support the Associate Manager in driving key transformational initiatives through effective project management to enable growth for the enterprise. This individual is a subject matter expert on the parts business and will also need to support daily priorities, future project launches and continuously improve the business through cost efficiency and enabling/supporting cross functional initiatives. This role must be able to partner effectively with a wide variety of cross functional partners both internally and externally. This role requires a high degree of ability to analyze highly complex problems to mitigate loss, increase customer satisfaction and optimize operating income.
Ultimately, the objective of this role is to improve levels of program success by: Being a subject matter expert in total Part Operations.
Owning strategy and implementation of future parts programs and initiatives
Partnering with a wide variety of cross functional partners both internally and externally
Developing, testing, and implementing new processes, procedures, and capabilities to meet evolving client needs
Key Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to develop partnerships with key stakeholders of the home services part operations organization as well as manage a wide variety of vendor relationships and requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. This role drives continuous improvements in quality, cost efficiency and overall process optimization.
Decrease overall costs related to part operations Identify and solve gaps in process
Effectively manage multiple initiatives
Build out new processes with cross-functional teams across the enterprise as well as externally to gain efficiencies and deliver at scale Manage multiple vendor relationships
Interact daily with all levels of employees within the field and corporate. Manage requests from corporate, field, and other constituents
Communicate succinctly with applicable business partners
Ability to analyze highly complex problems and provide consistent repeatable solutions Data analysis review using a variety of programs connecting multiple data flows between internal and external systems as well as variations by channel and platform
Basic Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in logistics, operations or supply chain
• 2 years of analytics experience
• 1 year of experience leading initiatives
• 1 year experience of working with external vendors
• 2 years demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills including delivery methodology
Preferred:
• Technical experience with excel, PowerBi, and company programs including Oracle, STAR, and FMS
