Bristol Myers Squibb’s Cell Therapy business is entering an exciting new phase as it begins the commercialization of its first CAR-T products. Commercialization drives new scope, scale, and complexity across the network, and requires manufacturing sites, global organizations, and IT systems to work together in new ways.
The Director, ERP Process Delivery leads a team of ERP Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver a portfolio of projects and enhancements to the ERP and satellite systems. The SMEs on this team work directly with business users in planning, scheduling, manufacturing, quality, and direct procurement functions to either deliver solutions directly, or partner closely with IT Delivery teams to develop requirements for technical solutions.
The Director is a key leader in the parent Cell Therapy Business Process Management organization. The Director works collaboratively with Global Business Process Owners and the Portfolio & Project Management team to understand the road maps for desired capabilities, and then develops resource and delivery plans independently, or collaboratively with program/project teams and IT. In addition to managing a team of internally staffed SMEs, this individual will manage the budgeting and on-boarding of temporary contract resources to satisfy short periods of high demand for solutions.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work cross functionally, including with IT and various process domains to support Cell Therapy
Leads identifying and managing timelines, resources and tasks during all phases related with Supply Chain projects or initiatives, as well as ongoing business activities.
Enable continuous improvement opportunities for SC processes
Drive the SMEs on their team to act as a community experts for the process areas they enable
Work with the portfolio team to develop plans for solution designs and delivery supporting Cell Therapy requirements.
Drive their team to maintain skill that allow them to write test plans, conduct quality assurance (QA) testing, support user acceptance tests (UAT)
Play a key role in continuous improvement activities
Actively engage with business partners and community members
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business or Engineering.
10 - 15 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing environment (biopharmaceutical industry preferred).
Experience with project or programs related to enabling Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Oracle, SAP, JDE)
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group
Experience working in a manufacturing or supply chain organization is a plus
Advance knowledge of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel 10%
