Bell has an opening in Amarillo, TX for a Supply Chain Procurement Professional. In this position, you will negotiate and administer complex subcontracts and use discretionary latitude to negotiate financial, contractual, technical terms, conditions, and provisions to establish and maintain major subcontracts. This role requires up to 25% plus travel (domestic U.S.) Responsibilities: Responsible for executing standard purchasing procedures within an assigned commodity to ensure the timely delivery of supplies and materials. You will be the key interface for subcontract administration of major systems and complex components for aircraft production, product upgrade and new program development. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, purchase order management, competitive pricing adherence, inventory analysis, new supplier qualification and negotiation of long-term agreements. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations in order to facilitate cost reduction initiatives that enhance the overall affordability and quality of our aircraft. You will utilize discretionary latitude within approved purchasing procedures and compliance for all contractual obligations regarding Bell Helicopter and the Supplier. Establish and maintain comprehensive and current subcontracts that adhere to program requirements and obligations. As required, you will also obtain and furnish supplier data to other functional disciplines and IPT (Integrated Product Team) management. ','!*!Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Mgmt., Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or similar.
