Lead - Shipping amp Receiving

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the following: assisting in the set-up operations and upkeep of shipping and receiving are; training of new Team Members; preparing and maintaining daily operational reports; communicating objectives between management and hourly Team Members. Other duties include: coordinating Team Member schedules to meet the needs of the department; reporting safety and policy violations for corrective measures; assist and maintain product flow in the event of down time; communicate maintenance needs within the department; provide relief breaks to other Team Members as needed; comply with all company and USDA guidelines; other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2 plus years experience in a warehouse environment. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills - checking email Outlook etc.. Experience in SAP - preferred. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Special Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work well in a fast paced environment.

Supervisory: Acts as a team leader providing functional supervision for other members of the work unit. Does not directly supervise.

Successful Candidate must have 6 months of continuous work history with 1 employer in the last 12 months from the date of your application.

Will train, however, candidate will be assessed after 15 days and 30 days. If at the end of 30 days, the candidate does not meet expectations, they will be withdrawn. Withdrawn candidate will have the opportunity to bid on any other open positions. Candidate must take a class 1 position if there are no other jobs to bid on.
