About Global Supply Chain Operations & Execution
Our Global Supply Chain Operations & Execution team includes Technical Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Product Supply, Materials Management, Inventory Optimization, Reverse Logistics and Order Fulfillment to assure our promise to our customers is delivered with excellence each and every time. Just like a Formula 1 Race Team, our team is agile, high-paced & high-performing with a great winning spirit. The team works very closely with all of the core functions within Operations and has a high level of visibility among other PURE Teams. There is never a dull moment within this “Work hard Play hard” team.
What You Will Be Doing
Make Data Speak
: We deal with a large amount of data. You will be working with our Supply Chain & Business Intelligence team to understand the flow of the data and create meaningful insights that can drive decision making within & beyond the team.
Create Roadmaps & Playbooks
: You will be introduced to a myriad of operations processes. They can range from Manufacturing, Inventory or Fulfillment. You will be working with the subject matter experts to understand the processes, find the pain points and come up with a solution that is more efficient and elegant. And documentation is key to keep making things better, so you will be assigned to create Playbooks.
Automation Automation Automation
: You will take part in the team’s automation journey. We want you to take the bull by the horn and drive an automation project from start to finish. Your experience with any Supply Chain System design will be helpful to successfully integrate the automation project.
Smooth Operator
: Operations is all about agility and successfully turning inputs to outputs in an efficient manner. You will be working with Supply Chain and Material Managers to understand the flow of information that has a direct impact on the flow of finished goods.
Be the Investigator
: Along the way you will keep your Investigator hat on to find gaps in the steps and come up with a solution that can improve the processes.
Showcase your Journey:
At the end of the internship you will be presenting your projects and experience to the Leadership Team. You can utilize your presentation skill to create a memorable experience for the team and for you!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program in Supply Chain Manufacturing, Operations, Data Science, Business, Economics, or a related field with an expected graduation date of approximately Summer 2022
Previous experience with production, manufacturing or Supply Chain Systems is a plus
Experience in Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Lucid Charts,
Strong research abilities and ability to document researched materials in an organized way
Organized, self-directed, and able to work without supervision to juggle multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail, but remain flexible, proactive, and resourceful
Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet’s and g-suite are preferred
Judgment to handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Interest in using quantitative analysis to drive business results
