POSITION PURPOSE:
This position will provide supply chain planning leadership in support of meeting KCP business initiatives in the HHTW business. The candidate will work with supply chain teams in both GSC, and KCP Supply Chain, as well as the HHTW business team, to help provide capability in facilitating the customer demand planning and supply planning capabilities to ensure execution of business plans. This position plays a key role in ensuring the senior leadership and business GMs, who own the monthly S&OP cycle, are provided with the best information for to ensure S&OP process is sustained, support, and successful.

• Global and regional supply chain planning teams – KCP Product Supply, Internal & External Manufacturing
• Regional customer logistics and deployment teams
• Central Transportation Team (CTT)
• Enterprise Supply Chain Leadership team
• Distribution Operations
SCOPE:
This position will lead the supply planning team responsible for planning operations both internal and external that support the HHTW business within KCP. The position will ensure that the demand-supply balances are reviewed, gaps or opportunities are presented for action, and cost and service are optimized. This leader will also create and execute the inventory plan that will achieve service level targets and minimize business interruptions.
This role will work with senior leaders from Sales, Demand Planning, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure understanding & compliance with the S&OP cycle so that the S&OP cycle is delivering the highest quality outputs.
Ensure S&OP, demand & supply management practices are in accordance with corporate ethics, financial instructions and internal control requirements and result in providing the requisite quality and reliability.
Position will provide leadership, coaching, developing, and ensuring performance among the supply planning team focused on mid to strategic time horizons.
EXPECTATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Lead the established process to optimize the S&OP cycle and ensure end to end demand and supply visibility
• Ensure S&OP meetings and flow are optimized to deliver on the planned process, output accuracy and decision-orientation and reinforce process commitment & excellence (i.e., clarity of objectives and decision rights) in coordination with the gold standard template
• Ensure metrics tie to defined business objectives while aligning metrics, inputs, transformations and outputs across all functions to ensure all components work against common expectations & objectives
• Capabilities to fit within global S&OP standards but tailored to meet KCP HHTW business needs
• Ensure the demand, portfolio & supply management solutions fit well within the S&OP Cycle and are driving operational improvements across all functions
• Work with planning teams to ensure existing supply reviews provide the needed visibility to demand-supply balances
• Work with supply teams to build needed tools and capabilities to drive both business and supply chain performance for the HHTW business
• Works with customer logistics, deployment teams, and CTT to ensure understanding of and execution against HHTW supply chain initiatives
• Work with planning teams to ensure outputs from supply reviews and S&OE are clear and able to be used to facilitate discussions within the MBR
• Ensure financial forecasting process & S&OP are clearly linked and aligned to drive one business planning process.
• Support and maintain sustainability & capability programs to ensure S&OP remains sound
• Maintain close, co-operative and influential relationships with key customers including BU leadership, Global Nonwovens, Customer Development (Sales), Demand Planning, Finance, Supply Chain Planning (e.g. procurement, production, distribution), Operations, and Brand Marketing to ensure the demand & supply management streams of the S&OP Cycle are contributing to the overall business success
• Develop and maintain expertise, and provide advice, counsel and services, as requested, on S&OP, processes, organization and metrics
• Lead the development, communication and implementation of S&OP objectives, operating philosophies, business strategies and organizational visions.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – CAPABILITIES / EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Business Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, Strategy or equivalent degree required
• Graduate Degree (MBA) Preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive work experience in Supply Chain, Demand and Supply Planning, Customer Care, Sales Operations, Physical Distribution with a history of demonstrated business success.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Sales & Operations Planning, with leadership over one or more elements of the overall process strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in detail where required but also to elevate, understand and manage within the ‘bigger picture’
• Demonstrate influencing skills to reach consensus, buy-in and commitment from internal and external partners
• Able to manage with ambiguity and autonomy
• Exceptional ability to effectively communicate, build collaborative relationships and influence change without direct authority across business units and support functions at all levels (e.g., senior leaders and individual contributors) in a large matrix organization
