Job Description:
Day-to-day manage the 3rd party logistics service providers for storage of bulk and packed lubricants.
Ensure 3rd party warehousing service providers fully implement Shell HSSE, Streamline and contract requirements.
This position acts as a key day-to-day supervisor of 3PL warehouse services and coordinates internally in all inventory-related activities.
Responsibility:
Conducts compliance check and SSW&T for 3PL warehouse operator to provide the frontline inputs to warehouse performance KPIs.
Work with LOBP teams to provide sufficient vehicle resources to lift short-haul products from LOBP and use daily plans to drive 3PL’s ability to support inbound receiving requirements.
Day-to-day liaise with 3PL warehouse operator on stock reconciliation, stock status changing, etc. to ensure delivery of 100% inventory accuracy. Be the first point of contact in Logistics after GSAP launch, when abnormalities are identified during push production and E-router interfaces.
Assign tasks to 3PL warehouse operators in miscellaneous warehouse related activities, e.g. commodity inspections, COA, product write-off’s and reworking, etc.
Analyse various stock reports from 3PL to ensure 3PL is operating per Streamline/GSAP requirements.
Organize stock take according to streamline requirements and ensure 3PL compliance.
Skills and Experience:
Skilled in required legacy modules (SAP) related to Inventory Management and transportation
Strong drive to satisfy customer requirements.
Computer literacy in MS Office environment.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment yet possessing the willingness to work independently with minimal guidance / supervision.
Experience of managing third party contractors.
The challenge for the incumbent will be working with the 3rd parties to ensure their full HSSE/Streamline compliance and close any existing workarounds on time.
