The warehouse associate
supports out company’s warehouse operations. This position will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities. In addition, they will drive to local contractors and load and unload jobs.
Essential Job Functions:
Process, package and ship orders accurately
Organize stocks and maintain inventory
Inspect products for defects and damages
Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
Organize warehouse space
Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Cross Training Requirements:
Warehouse Training: Learn process of assembling shirt orders to assist with completion of large orders
Marketing Training: Learn basics of marketing to provide coverage for personnel absences
Phone Training: Learn basics of phone system to be able to answer call if support is needed
Position Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven warehouse experience
Ability to operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data and shipping systems
Team player with organizational skills
Valid Driver’s License and Excellent Driving Record
Education Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or move heavy products
Ability to climb stairs multiple times per day due to office location
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
