What’s the role?
The Supply Chain Analyst provides all types of analytical, marketing, and reporting support for a Commercial Team in the Chemicals market. Deliverables and tasks may include external presentation materials, pricing management and pricing strategy implementation, competitive market analysis, sales forecasting, focused studies to improve commercial decision making, and contract negotiation support. This role includes direct sales account management for some strategic accounts and has the growth potential for a Sales Manager role once sufficient product line knowledge is acquired.
The primary focus of the Supply Chain Analyst is to support the logistics operations leads by ensuring that key processes are operating efficiently. These processes include plant/T-zone setup, SKU extensions, inventory & invoice reconciliation, and P&L accruals and tariffs.
Responsibilities:
Price management: Work with Product Manager and provide feedback to Sales Managers with regards to inventory optimization and pricing to maximize value capture
Drive improvements on pricing strategy, volume forecasting and allocations on indirect and direct channels
Ensure monthly volumes are tracked and have discussions with Sales Managers on appropriate pricing to achieve Business Plan
Competitive & Market Analysis: Collate intel from Sales Managers and independently validate competitor and competitive analyses to extract maximum value from market and appropriately respond to changes to market dynamics
Support Commercial Manager for business analysis and marketing support as required
Monthly pricing support for other Sales Managers and Commercial Managers
Commercial sales responsibility to sustain strong customer relationships as the sales account manager for multiple essential accounts
Interface well with the customer service team in support of effective, efficient commercial operations
Continuous interface with global teams to obtain a complete view of the market, our competitors, and customers

Requirements:
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or comparable technical background skills.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales is a must.
Technical experience is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to dive deep into data to identify issues, patterns and solve problems
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data manipulation
Strong PowerPoint proficiency to create compelling and creative sales presentations
