Job Description:
The Shell CP Lead role are the primary interface to deliver “most competitive” supply chains for the relevant business. They proactively identify and understand the needs from business stakeholders and collaboratively propose the most competitive solutions, based on an exhaustive review across all available value levers (price, demand, specifications).
Accountabilities:
Develop and implement the most competitive supply chain strategy for projects in the engineering and construction services portfolio
Manage contracts for the engineering and construction portfolio, while supporting other projects in T&S Americas when capacity allows
Actively manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure on-time, competitive, and safe delivery of the project portfolio
Support Goal Zero aspiration through robust Contractor Safety Management practices
Implement Contractor HSSE practices in close liaison with Contract Holders and Owners
Identify and understand commercial/procurement needs from internal stakeholders and collaboratively propose competitive solutions
Build highly collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders in T&S, Finance, HSSE, etc. to deliver significant reductions in costs by continually applying transformational supply chain principles in all stages of the contracting life cycle
Work closely with the T&S Global Category Manager to participate and support global category initiatives to bi-directionally share learning’s and best practices
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain or any equivalent is preferred
Demonstrable experience in contract negotiations, tender execution, and post award contract management
Exposure to project execution/contracting strategy preferred
Must have legal authorization to work in the Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
