Job Details:
JOB SUMMARY: A Records Center Administrator is an entry level position that assists the Records Supervisor to identify, arrange and maintain company records in accordance with the Records Retention & Disposal Policy. Company records includes electronic records and paper records. Coordinate with other departments and facilities to ensure they are maintaining and managing records in accordance with the Records Retention and Disposal Policy.
Days/Hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. (1/2-hour lunch)
Warehouse Duties/Responsibilities:
Shelve, retrieve and inventory boxes, files and documents
Pick up or deliver boxes to customer
Receive and Inventory boxes delivered by UPS, FedEx, plants, etc.
Retrieve boxes, files, or documents for customer requests
Scan boxes onto shelves using a handheld scanner
Drive forklift, WAV, and Order Picker
Office Duties:
Data Entry.
Indexing files into Records Retention CM Software
Converting paper documents into electronic format such as prepping/organizing documents for scanning and scanning documents/microfilm for customer requests, projects, and as needed
Answering telephone calls and emails from customers
Greeting walk in vendors and customers
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous forklift experience.
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Experience with a Records Management software system a plus but not required
Communication Skills: Good Communication Skills.
Physical Requirements:
Be able to lift 30 – 70 pounds on a regular basis
Willing to place boxes on shelves up to 24’ off the ground
Able to reach for boxes at a min of 30 deep and 34 high.
Willing to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
Physically able to do repetitive bending, twisting and lifting to shelve boxes
Travel: Willing to travel locally and to other facilities as needed.
Position Specific Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License w/Excellent driving record
Must sign/adhere to a Confidentiality Agreement
