The Data Center Operations Logistics Manager is a key role on our inventory management team. This role is tasked with overseeing various inventory operations initiatives, while ensuring that all performance measures meet and exceed company expectations on a consistent basis.
What you’ll be doing:
Follow processes related to material handling and inventory/asset management including inventory accuracy, material/good receipts, etc
Supervise on-site inventory levels; communicate when inventory levels hit minimum
Perform cycle count process on devices, components, and consumables that are not deployed on the established cadence
Maintain parts room to meet the physical inventory storage requirements
Find opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to streamline processes
Regularly communicate project status, key issues, and decisions to management that keeps the business moving and so very critical to our success
Maintain consistent methods and practices across logistics teams
Purchase various data center, lab and office supplies as needed

Qualifications:
Proven ability in leading regional / multiple sites
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet use (basic formulas, data validation, pivot tables etc)
Culturally aware in leading multiple nationalities
Linguistically proficient in English and the local language
Ability to make sound decisions when faced with competing priorities
Former business IT inventory operations experience desired
Customer experience background desired
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some tasks may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Required Qualifications/Skills:
5 years relevant experience
Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.
Proven record of strong relationship building
Able to work in a large team with minimal supervision
Strong communications skills
Experience with inventory management systems
Capable of providing an outstanding customer and team experience
