Logistics Analyst Jobs

A logistics analyst is responsible for analyzing various logistics related activities of the firm. Specific duties of a logistics analyst include studying various phases in transportation, analyzing the performance of logistics personnel, establishing best practices in the area, gathering feedback from workers for process improvement, meeting productivity and profitability improvement goals, finding out lacunae in the existing set of variables, preparing and presenting reports to showcase findings, receiving feedback from logistics manager in this regard, implementing suggestions, and performing a wide variety of other tasks relating to logistics management. A logistics analyst typically reports to a logistics manager.
A logistics analyst should have an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience in logistics management is essential for a logistics analyst role.
